CalculatorWithTax helps you add VAT, GST or sales tax to a price, or work backwards from a tax-inclusive total. Each result includes the amount before tax, the tax amount and the total, alongside an explanation of the calculation.

Our goal is practical tax-calculation tools with clear assumptions, readable examples and links to official references. We are developing coverage for 20 countries, with dedicated UK VAT and Australian GST calculators currently available.

CalculatorWithTax Team runs CalculatorWithTax.com from the United States. We are an independent project, not a tax authority or a professional tax-advisory service.

Our approach to accuracy

We link country references to official tax-authority guidance and legislation. Automated tests compare calculations, worked examples and displayed results. AI assists with development and content preparation; it does not replace professional judgment.

Independent professional tax review of the country calculators is not yet complete. A referenced rate does not establish that it applies to your transaction. Check the relevant conditions or consult a qualified adviser when you need a tax decision.

What the tools cover

The global calculator applies a percentage you enter. Selecting a country sets the currency and context, not an official rate. Dedicated country calculators explain their supported treatments and rounding policies separately.

Our tools do not determine product taxability, registration obligations or entitlement to tax credits. They do not convert currencies, prepare tax returns or certify invoices.
