Privacy and Your Calculation Data

What stays in your browser

Amounts and percentages are calculated on your device. The application does not send them to a tax API or reporting service. The current application has no account, analytics or advertising integration and serves its fonts and brand assets locally.

Your interface-language preference is saved under cwt-language in local storage. Calculation inputs are not saved in local or session storage. Explicit same-tab calculator links use short-lived, one-use memory for a validated amount and mode; they do not carry a rate or place financial values in browser history state or navigation requests. Refresh, new tabs and ordinary back/forward navigation do not replay that handoff.

Actions you choose

Copy and print expose the displayed result to your clipboard or printing system only when you request them. A calculation-sharing link includes its amount and rate only after the confirmation prompt. Once shared, that URL can be retained in browser history, server logs or by its recipient.

Error reports download as local JSON files and are not submitted to a server. Amount and rate are excluded unless you select the inclusion checkbox. Report descriptions are free text: do not enter identity numbers, bank details or other confidential information. Files you download and copies you share remain under your control.

Hosting and external services

CalculatorWithTax is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Your browser connects to the hosting provider to load the website, even though the arithmetic runs on your device. Cloudflare may process connection information and operational logs for service delivery and security. Exact provider retention periods and international processing locations for this site have not been established.

We use Google Search Console for search-performance reporting, not an installed Google Analytics tag. Links to tax authorities and other external websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.
